What is your welcome sequence leaving on the table?

Four numbers. You get what it earns per subscriber. Plus what a single point of conversion is worth. That decides whether another email pays.

Four numbers. The conversion rate is the one to estimate honestly.

Why this one is different from every other send

Your welcome sequence is the only thing you send that reaches every single subscriber. A campaign only reaches people who were already on the list when it went out.

So a point gained here applies to all 16,800 people who join this year, and to everyone who joins after that. Improving it once keeps paying without being sent again.

You have one email doing all of it

That single email currently carries $5,264 a month on its own.

A second email does not have to match it to be worth sending. It only has to earn more than nothing. It reaches people who already said they want to hear from you.

Want this as an email?

Your numbers have stayed in your browser so far. Asking for the report is what sends them to me. This one email, and nothing else.

Everything here runs in your browser. Your numbers are never sent anywhere, not to me and not to anyone else.

How this is calculated, and what to put in

Why this sequence is not like the others

Your welcome sequence is the only thing you send that reaches every subscriber. A campaign reaches the people already on the list. It reaches nobody who joins later.

That difference is the whole argument. A point gained here applies to everyone who joins this year, and everyone after. You never send it again.

How this is calculated

Conversion rate times average order gives revenue per subscriber. Multiply by monthly intake for the monthly figure.

The headline is one percentage point of conversion. Across a month of new subscribers, at your order value. Everything else is that figure over different spans.

What to put in

Emails in the sequence
How many arrive automatically after someone subscribes. One is the most common answer, and it is not embarrassing. It is the cheapest thing on this site to fix.
Share who buy from it
Of people who subscribe, how many order because of the sequence. Not those who would have anyway. Estimate honestly rather than generously; the number is for you.

What to do with the answer

Compare one point against the cost of writing two more emails. The comparison is usually not close. Writing is a one time cost, and the sequence runs by itself afterwards.

If your sequence is one email, do not plan a nine part epic. Add a second, watch it for a month, then decide about a third.

One email is the most common answer to this
